High water levels begin to impact shipping interests along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 21.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of near 22.5 feet Friday evening, then begin a slow fall. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.
