Yellow watch - severe thunderstorm - in effect Locations: Portions of northern Manitoba. Timing: This afternoon and evening. Hazards: Large hail and strong, gusty winds. Remarks: Thunderstorms, some of which may become severe, have developed and continue to move east/northeast this evening. The threat for severe weather will diminish late this evening. ### Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
