For the Wind Advisory, until 4 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Scattered tree limbs, as well as isolated trees and powerlines could be blown down. Power outages possible. Locally damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph are possible with any stronger thunderstorm activity this evening into tonight. This activity will be addressed by Special Weather Statements or Severe Thunderstorm Warnings as needed. Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following counties, western Suffolk and southeastern Nassau. * WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 736 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Between 1/2 and 3/4 inch of rain has fallen in spots. - Additional rainfall of up to 1/2 inch is expected. - Some locations that could experience minor flooding include...
