Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Creeks and streams are already running high and may rise out of their banks due to the incoming heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of moderate to heavy rain along with some embedded thunderstorms are expected to track into western New England late this afternoon into this evening before a cold front sweeps through the region tonight.
