The National Heat Plan is in effect for persistent heat. This afternoon temperatures will reach 30-34°C , with a heat index of 7-8. The temperature will fall somewhat from the west during later in the afternoon and during possible local thunderstorms. Tonight low temperatures wil be around 20°C. BE AWARE that high temperatures are expected. Some health risks amongst vulnerable people like the elderly and very young are possible.
