    * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, including the following area, New Castle, New Jersey, including the following areas, Camden, Coastal Ocean, Eastern Monmouth, Gloucester, Mercer, Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, Salem, Southeastern Burlington and Western Monmouth, and Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Berks, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester and Western Montgomery. * WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread showers and thunderstorms will move through this afternoon through tonight.     At 802 PM EDT, emergency management reported residents are unable to exit their homes along Reeceville Road in West Brandywine. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is up to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... West Chester, Coatesville, Downingtown, Parkesburg, Honey Brook, Elverson, Glenmoore, Marshallton, Lionville, Lionville-Marchwood, Chester Springs and West Goshen. This includes Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 301 and 317.
