    Yellow watch - severe thunderstorm - in effect Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. Thunderstorms are likely to develop today. Some of these thunderstorms will become severe this afternoon and this evening. ### Some travel delays are possible. Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles. Large hail can cause significant damage and injury.     Yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 5:11 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is located near Edson and is moving northeast at 50 km/h. ### Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. There is a risk of injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
