    * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Oregon, including the following areas, Clackamas County Cascade Foothills, Clatsop County Coast, East Central Willamette Valley, East Portland Metro, Inner Portland Metro, Lower Columbia River, North Oregon Coast Range, North Oregon Coast Range Lowlands, Outer Southeast Portland Metro, Portland West Hills and Chehalem Mountain, Tillamook County Coast, Tualatin Valley, West Central Willamette Valley, West Columbia River Gorge I-84 Corridor and West Columbia River Gorge of Oregon above 500 ft and southwest Washington, including the following areas, Cowlitz County Lowlands, East Clark County Lowlands, Inner Vancouver Metro, North Clark County Lowlands, South Washington Cascade Foothills, West Columbia River Gorge SR 14 Corridor, Willapa Hills and Willapa and Wahkiakum Lowlands. * WHEN...Through this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. Landslides and debris flows are possible during this flood event. People, structures, and roads located below steep slopes, in canyons, and near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk from rapidly moving landslides. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The majority of rainfall associated with an atmospheric river has shifted southward and out of the forecast area. However, lingering showers will continue through through Saturday morning. The saturated ground along with very full rivers will maintain an elevated threat of flooding through at least Saturday afternoon.     ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington...Oregon... Cowlitz River at Castle Rock affecting Cowlitz County. Wilson River near Tillamook affecting Tillamook County. Cowlitz River at Kelso affecting Cowlitz County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cowlitz River at Kelso. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...Above 24.5 feet, flooding of a few residential areas in Kelso begins. Also expect widespread flooding of pasture land and low lying roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:13 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 23.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:13 AM PDT Saturday was 23.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will oscillate above flood stage with a maximum value of 23.4 feet and will slow fall through late Saturday night.
