WIDESPREAD MINOR TO MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING OR POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE STATE WITH ISOLATED MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE RAINFALL LIKELY TO MOSTLY CONTRACT OFFSHORE BY TUESDAY MORNING A widespread heavy rain event continues for central Queensland and the Wide Bay and Burnett on Monday, with locally intense falls also possible. This rain event is likely to contract offshore by Tuesday morning, with only seasonal coastal showers remaining. The risk of widespread heavy rainfall has now generally eased for areas west of Longreach. Catchments across Queensland are wet to saturated from recent rainfall, and will respond quickly to further heavy rainfall. Multiple minor to major Flood Warnings are current across Queensland. Widespread minor to moderate riverine flooding is developing across Queensland, with further flooding possible across the Flood Watch area from Monday and into Tuesday. Isolated major flooding is possible in the areas of heaviest rainfall. Rapid river level rises and localised flooding are possible in areas of heavy rainfall. Disruption to transport routes is likely across parts of the Flood Watch area.
