Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake affecting Hardin and Jefferson Counties. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Village Creek Near Kountze affecting Hardin County. For the Neches River...including Town Bluff, Evadale, Neches River Saltwater Barrier...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Pine Island Bayou...including Sour Lake...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier. * WHEN...Until Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Colliers Ferry Park is under water, and flooding of secondary roads near the river can be expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 5.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Sunday was 5.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.8 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 4.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.8 feet on 02/14/2005. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
