Yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 8:32 p.m. CDT, a line of severe thunderstorms is located from Piney to Rennie then to Brightstone. These severe thunderstorms are moving east at 55 km/h. Damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and very heavy rain are possible. Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Pinawa, Sprague, Lake of the Woods ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Fast-moving and rapidly rising water can sweep vehicles away and damage infrastructure. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
