River levels are elevated and minor flooding is likely along the Stanley River to Somerset Dam. The Stanley River at Woodford is currently at 2.13 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Stanley River at Woodford is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) overnight Thursday into Friday.

Severe showers and thunderstorms moving repeatedly over the same area are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Warwick, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Dalby, Roma, Stanthorpe, Caboolture and Ipswich. 163 mm OF RAINFALL WAS RECORDED AT MT RESERVOIR IN THE 3 HOURS TO 8:30 AM. 159 mm OF RAINFALL WAS RECORDED AT ELIMBAH (ROSE CREEK RD) IN 3 HOURS TO 8:12 AM 141 mm OF RAINFALL WAS RECORDED AT BURPENGARY (MATHEW CR) IN 3 HOURS TO 7:45 AM. 168 mm OF RAINFALL WAS RECORDED AT SHEEP STATION CREEK (MORAYFIELD) IN 3 HOURS TO 7:30 AM. 159 mm OF RAINFALL WAS RECORDED AT CABOOLTURE (SHORT ST) IN 3 HOURS TO 7:30 AM.
