While the thunderstorm threat will end by Friday and Saturday, hot, dry, and windy conditions will develop, primarily across southeast Oregon and the higher terrain of southwest Idaho. The driest and windiest day at this time is expected on Saturday. * AFFECTED AREA...In Oregon, Fire Weather Zones 670 Burns BLM, 671 Steens Mountain and 672 Southern Grasslands. * TIMING...From Friday afternoon through Saturday evening. * WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 10 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly.
