Menominee River near Niagara affecting Marinette, Menominee, Florence and Dickinson Counties. Menominee River near McAllister affecting Menominee and Marinette Counties. For the Menominee River...including Florence, Niagara, McAllister... Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Menominee River near McAllister. * WHEN...Until Thursday, April 30. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flood waters are covering River Drive and Shore Drive west of Wallace in Menominee County, Michigan and South Park Road east of Porterfield in Marinette County. This stage compares to a flow of 24240 cubic feet per second at White Rapids Dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 17.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday, April 29 and continue falling to 14.8 feet Wednesday, April 29. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
