The Meteorological Service has issued a Thunderstorms at Sea Warning for offshore Morant Bank area, offshore Pedro Bank area and inshore areas of north and south coast.
Small boats should not go to sea. Those already at sea should head for a safe landing site.
Lightning strikes may injure or kill people and damage electrical equipment in small boats. Stay dry if possible. Wear rubber boots or shoes and rubber gloves.
Hail stones may injure people in small open boats. Cover your head with a hard hat or board.
