    Rain, heavy at times is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.

    Locations: southern New Brunswick.

    Further rainfall: 15 to 25 mm, with locally higher amounts possible.

    Time span: continuing until this afternoon.

    Remarks: Rain at times heavy with a risk of thundershowers are expected today. Very mild temperatures will result in rapid melting of the remaining snowpack.

    Localized flooding may occur in areas with poor drainage.

    Ensure storm drains and gutters are clear of ice and debris to reduce localized flooding.
