Illinois River at Henry affecting Marshall and Putnam Counties. .The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Illinois River at Henry. * WHEN...Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water begins to affect the marina in Henry along with minor flooding of land adjacent to the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 23.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 23.1 feet just after midnight tonight. For the Illinois River (Upper)...including La Salle...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Illinois River from Starved Rock Lock and Dam downstream to confluence with Big Bureau Creek, including the La Salle gauge. * WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Lower parking lot at Starved Rock State Park is inundated east of La Salle. High water levels begin to impact shipping interests along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 21.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is cresting near 22 feet tonight, then will begin a slow fall. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
