Yellow advisory - frost - in effect Freezing temperatures with frost are expected tonight. Locations: Deer Lake - Humber Valley, Buchans and the interior, Green Bay - White Bay, Grand Falls and vicinity. Minimum temperatures: zero to +4 (coolest in low-lying areas). Time span: early Sunday morning. Remarks: Patchy frost is expected to form in the more typically prone low lying areas where winds will diminish to light under a cool airmass and clear skies. ### Damage to plants, trees, and crops is possible. Yellow warning - wind - in effect Strong winds are expected. Maximum wind gusts: 90 km/h. Locations: Grand Falls-Windsor and vicinity, Gander and vicinity. Time span: later this morning until later this afternoon. Remarks: Fully leafed trees are more vulnerable to wind damage at this time of year than during the winter season. Be prepared for possible utility outages and consider having basic supplies such as flashlights and batteries on hand. ### Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible.
