Biloxi River Near Lyman affecting Harrison County. Tchoutacabouffa River Above D'Iberville affecting Harrison County. For the Jourdan River...including Kiln/Bay St. Louis...Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Wolf River...including Landon, Gulfport...Major flooding is forecast. For the Biloxi River...including Wortham, Lyman...Major flooding is forecast. For the Tchoutacabouffa River...including D'Iberville...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Pascagoula River...including Graham Ferry...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Jourdan River near Kiln/Bay St. Louis. * WHEN...Until Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Homes along the river on the south bank will flood. Water will be over the road near the bridge approach. Backwater flooding will threaten property east of Highway 43. Access to the river will be restricted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 10.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM CDT Friday was 11.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 2.8 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 6.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.7 feet on 08/29/2012. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
