An Alberta Clipper will spread an area of freezing rain across portions of eastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba tonight.

The threat for freezing rain will diminish through the day on Saturday.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
