The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... A Dam Failure on the Kaukonahua Stream below Wahiawa Dam on... The island of Oahu in Honolulu County

* Until 115 PM HST Saturday.

* At 105 PM HST, emergency management reported the imminent failure of Wahiawa Dam.

HAZARD...Flash flooding from the imminent failure of Wahiawa Dam.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Flooding of areas downstream from the Wahiawa Dam along the Kaukonahua Stream.

* The nearest downstream area from the dam is Waialua, Haleiwa, and Kaukonahua Stream.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Poamoho Stm- Dole Fields, Poamoho Stm- Kaukonahua Hwy, Kaukonahua Stm- Schofield, Mohiakea Gul, Waialua Town, Kaukonahua Stm- N Fork Wahiawa, Kaukonahua Stm- Wahiawa, Kiikii Stm- Waialua, Helemano/Opaeula Stm- Haleiwa, Kaukonahua Stm- Waialua and Anahulu R- Haleiwa. Flooding is occurring along the Kaukonahua Stream.

This warning may need to be extended beyond 115 PM HST Saturday if flooding persists.
