Strong winds with gusts up to 90 km/h are likely today.

Wind gusts of 90 km/h were reported at a number of sites last night, including areas near the Trans-Canada Highway near Exshaw, Nordegg, and Hinton. Strong winds will continue to affect wind prone areas today.

Winds will weaken slightly this afternoon.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult. High-sided vehicles will be pushed around by the wind. There is a risk of injury due to flying or falling debris.
