Significant snowfall is expected over higher terrain. Locations: parts of western Newfoundland. Total snowfall: near 10 cm, except 25 cm over higher terrain. Time span: tonight until Friday evening. Remarks: Snow is expected to begin this morning and will intensify overnight tonight. The heaviest snowfall is expected to occur on Friday. Coastal areas and lower elevations are not expected to exceed snowfall warning criteria at this time. ### Travel will likely be challenging.
