    Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County.

    Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County.

    Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County.

    .Water from heavy rains over the weekend continue to move into and through the river systems. Minor flooding is occuring along sections of the Muskegon River as well as the Grand River. Flood conditions will begin to improve in the next day or two.

    * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

    * WHERE...Grand River near Comstock Park.

    * WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

    * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Expect minor flooding of homes along Abrigador Trail.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:29 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 12.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:29 AM EDT Tuesday was 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.3 feet on 03/16/2006. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
