    ...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING ON ALL ISLANDS DURING HIGH TIDES THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK... .Peak monthly high tides combined with water levels that will be running higher than predicted will lead to minor flooding along the shoreline and in low-lying coastal areas. Coastal flooding is possible around the daily peak tides, which will occur during the late afternoon hours. * WHAT...Isolated minor coastal flooding. * WHERE...Vulnerable low-lying coastal roadways, docks, boat ramps and other coastal infrastructure of all Hawaiian Islands. * WHEN...During the afternoon hours this weekend into early next week. * IMPACTS...Flooding of beaches that are normally dry, minor coastal erosion, and saltwater inundation.

    • Avoid driving through flooded roadways. If you are forced to drive through salt water, be sure to rinse your vehicle with fresh water. Move electronics, vehicles or other valuables to higher ground. Monitor vessels to ensure mooring lines don't get too tight and watch out for overwash around boat ramps. Secure canoes or other watercraft stowed on beaches.

    * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall. * WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County. * WHEN...Until 500 PM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 157 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over both the Ko'olau Mountain Range and West Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Waipio, Mililani, Wahiawa, Wheeler Field, Pearl City, Waikele, Kunia, Waipahu, Schofield Barracks, Aiea, Waikane, Waiahole, Halawa, Kahaluu, Ahuimanu, Moanalua, Punaluu, Iroquois Point, Kaaawa and Ewa Beach.
