Accumulating snow is expected over higher elevations. Locations: the Trans-Labrador Highway to the southeast of Happy Valley–Goose Bay. Total snowfall: near 10 cm over higher terrain. Time span: this morning through late this afternoon. Remarks: While precipitation is expected to fall mainly as rain over lower elevations, snow will accumulate steadily over elevated terrain where temperatures are expected to be colder. Snow accumulations may create slippery and hazardous driving conditions.
