The main exception will be the upper elevations of the Klondike Highway near White Pass which is expected to remain cold enough for all snow. By Saturday morning, cooling temperatures will see a changeover to snow for the Yakutat area, with the rest of the panhandle following suit Saturday afternoon and evening. * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...City and Borough of Juneau. * WHEN...From 3 PM Saturday to 4 AM AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.
