For the Fox River (Illinois)...including Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, Montgomery, Dayton...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles, including the Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater gauge. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Winaki Trail and Onaway Trail are threatened south of Algonquin. Athletic fields inundated at Judson College in Elgin. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Sunday was 10.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is forecast to continue to gradually fall through the middle of the week. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.4 feet on 07/18/2024. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
