    * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of south-central Arizona, including Santa Cruz, southwest Cochise and south-central and southeast Pima counties. * WHEN...Until 10 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive rainfall runoff may result in flash flooding of normally dry washes, roadway dips and other low-lying areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The combination of an increase in lower-level moisture and an favorable weather pattern will result in widespread strong thunderstorms with heavy rain across portions of south- central Arizona. Although most areas impacted by thunderstorms will receive only between one half to one inch of rain, isolated locations may receive between 1 and 3 inches.     * WHAT...Visibility between one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust. * WHERE...South Central Pinal County, Southeast Pinal County, Tohono O'odham Nation, and Western Pima County. * WHEN...Until 10 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility.

    • Persons with respiratory problems should make preparations to stay indoors until the storm passes. Be ready for a sudden drop in visibility to near zero. If you encounter blowing dust or blowing sand on the roadway or see it approaching, pull off the road as far as possible and put your vehicle in park. Turn the lights all the way off and keep foot off the brake pedal. Remember, 'Pull Aside, Stay Alive'.
