Although most areas impacted by thunderstorms will receive only between one half to one inch of rain, isolated locations may receive between 1 and 3 inches. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sierra Vista, Benson, Willcox, Whetstone, Huachuca City, St. David, Tombstone, Dragoon, Pearce-Sunsites, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Fort Huachuca, Cochise, Texas Canyon, Fairbank, Charleston, Kansas Settlement, Muleshoe Ranch Preserve and Cascabel.
