    * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of south-central Arizona, including Santa Cruz, southwest Cochise and south-central and southeast Pima counties. * WHEN...Until 10 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive rainfall runoff may result in flash flooding of normally dry washes, roadway dips and other low-lying areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The combination of an increase in lower-level moisture and an favorable weather pattern will result in widespread strong thunderstorms with heavy rain across portions of south- central Arizona. Although most areas impacted by thunderstorms will receive only between one half to one inch of rain, isolated locations may receive between 1 and 3 inches. Western Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 1000 PM MST. * At 802 PM MST, the public reported continued flash flooding from earlier thunderstorms across the warned area. Washes were running high across the region with flooding impacts to continue into the late evening. Additional rainfall will mainly be less than 0.25 inches. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sierra Vista, Benson, Willcox, Whetstone, Huachuca City, St. David, Tombstone, Dragoon, Pearce-Sunsites, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Fort Huachuca, Cochise, Texas Canyon, Fairbank, Charleston, Kansas Settlement, Muleshoe Ranch Preserve and Cascabel. This includes the following highways... Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 336. Route 80 between mile markers 293 and 333. Route 191 between mile markers 43 and 66. Route 92 between mile markers 322 and 323. Interstate 10 between mile markers 299 and 344. Route 82 between mile markers 50 and 67. Route 186 between mile markers 327 and 335.
