Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with locally very heavy rainfall fell across the area last night and today. Water will be over the road near the bridge approach. Backwater flooding will threaten property east of Highway 43. Access to the river will be restricted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:45 AM CDT Friday was 9.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.5 feet this morning.
