    The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 8 AM to 7 PM PDT Friday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * AFFECTED AREA...Northern Trinity and Humboldt Counties including fire weather zones 403, 406, 409, and 410. * THUNDERSTORMS...Isolated, mostly dry thunderstorms may form over the higher terrain of northern Humboldt and Trinity counties as early as 4 AM Friday morning and then through Friday afternoon. Overall thunderstorm confidence remains very uncertain. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Storms could produce gusty and erratic outflow winds up to 40 mph. * IMPACTS...Thunderstorms may ignite new fires with dry fuels and in difficult to access locations. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

    ...Scattered dry and wet thunderstorms develop on Friday... .An upper level low will inject elevated moisture to the region by Friday morning. Storms will track towards the north through the day. A mix of dry and wet storms will provide abundant lightning to the region through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...Abundant lightning on dry fuels will likely create new ignitions across the region. Any fires that develop could spread rapidly. Numerous new fire starts could overwhelm initial attack. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 280,281,284 and 285 in California. The majority of Siskiyou and Modoc Counties. * THUNDERSTORMS...Moving north around 20 to 25 mph.
