Rainfall and strong winds are expected today. Locations: Prince Edward Island. Potential rainfall: 25 to 40 mm, possibly higher. Potential wind gusts: northerly 70 to 80 km/h. Time span: now until Monday morning. Remarks: An approaching weather system forecast to track over eastern Nova Scotia tonight will bring another period of rainfall and gusty winds to parts of PEI. Rain is expected to mix with or change to snow over some areas. Clear storm drains and gutters of leaves and other debris in advance of the rainfall.
